О фильме: Успешный финансовый директор Катя замужем за Сергеем, обаятельным и харизматичным инструктором вождения. Он кажется заботливым и любящим, но Катя чувствует, что муж что-то скрывает от нее. Однажды Сергей приводит в их дом шестилетнюю дочь Соню, уверяя, что его бывшая попала в больницу. Кате сложно принять чужого ребенка. Она пытается выяснить, что произошло на самом деле с матерью девочки. Катя обращается к соседу Игорю, бывшему оперативнику, и просит его навести справки о прошлом мужа. Вскоре Сергей получает анонимные угрозы – якобы он убил свою бывшую, ведь после ссоры с ним она пропала. Сергею удается убедить Катю в своей невиновности. Катя же винит себя, думая, что их шантажирует Игорь, которому она зря доверилась. Чтобы откупиться от шантажа, Катя продает свою квартиру. И лишь потом понимает, что стала жертвой аферы.
